Dinner for Forty

The other night I got to do something I've never done before - cater a party! I made dinner/dessert for the 40 wonderful women who teach at Ben's preschool. I was worried about everything coming out at the same time, but it all worked out fine. I really enjoyed dreaming up my dinner plan and seeing it all come together. Here is the menu I served with links to all the recipes.

Christmas Dinner

Glazed Pork Tenderloin (the rub and glaze from the Island Pork Tenderloin recipe)

Rolls and Butter

Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Cake (served in individual clear plastic cups)

Stephanie,
It was sooooo good! I brought leftovers home to my husband and he was impressed! He is a really good cook especially when it comes to meat and he can't wait to try to make the pork tenderloin. Thanks for a wonderful meal!!

Sounds delish. Good thing you live no where near me or you might find me salivating outside your window like a dog!

You make some very tasty things!

I'm always impressed by your menu but even moreso that you managed to time everything to be ready at the same time.

That's a gift!

I'm glad that you put your menu on there because there is a recipe on there that caught my eye the 1st time you showed it [sweet corn pudding] and since seeing it on here again, I decided to make it for Christmas to bring to my sisters.

I hope it's a hit!

Tom, if you lived near me I'd have you over! Alison, I hope they like the corn! One teacher told me she could just sit in the corner and eat it right out of the pan. ;-)

Stephanie,
This dinner was absolutely wonderful. I do believe you need to be in the catering business or open your own restaurant. Simply scrumptious...everything!Thanks for sharing your delicious tasting eats on this blog... my family thanks you too. Jen Wood
